The Relocation Committee reviews the Relocation Directive and hears final level grievances on this authority, when required by the Executive Committee. The Committee also recommends changes to various rates and premiums on a periodic basis.

Quarterly Report to the National Joint Council (September 2017)
- The Committee has met once (1) since the last Council meeting and has examined one (1) grievance.
- The Committee wishes to note the departure of the Chairperson, Daniel Banville and thank him for his contribution to the Committee over the last 4 years.
- The Committee would like to welcome Trevor Sanders as the new Chairperson of the Relocation Committee.
- Nine (9) grievances: three (3) grievances pertain to relocation expenses, two are scheduled for October and the other grievance is pending additional information from the Department; (1) grievance pertains to eligibility and is scheduled for November; one (1) grievance pertains to IAM&MA and is with the Committee Advisor; one (1) grievance is in abeyance pending a tentative settlement; one (1) grievance pertains to relocation entitlements and is with the Committee Advisor, one (1) grievance pertains to commuting assistance and is pending additional information from the Department, one (1) grievance pertains to an extension request and is pending additional information from the Department.
