Foreign Service Directives
November 7, 2012
In February 2012 the reformatted Foreign Services Directives were published in order to comply with the Treasury Board Policy, Common Look and Feel 2.0 Standards and Guidelines http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/clf2-nsi2/index-eng.asp. As a result of this reformatting the Foreign Service Directives rates, allowances and other updates can now be found in the appendices of the relevant Directives.
The Foreign Service Directives Committee will no longer publish policy notices detailing updates to these appendices. Instead, users are invited to refer directly to the appendices for the latest information.
Please note that policy notices will continue to be issued for changes and clarifications that do not constitute updates to the Foreign Service Directives appendices.
