Salary Equalization

The grievors sought that no recovery action be taken by the department to recover overpayment of salary equalization.

The grievors had received payment of salary equalization calculated using an exchange rate which was based on erroneous statistical data.

The Administrative Committee considered the report of the Foreign Service Directives Committee but could come to no agreement as to the intent of the policy in regard to the grievors.
