The grievor sought reimbursement of the costs of repairs to his private motor vehicle. The repairs were attributed to lack of upkeep while the vehicle was in storage.

The Administrative Committee considered and agreed with the report of the Foreign Service Directives Committee in that the grievor had been treated within the intent of the Directive as there was no authority to claim the cost of repairing deterioration which had occurred while the vehicle was in storage.

The grievance was denied.
