FSD 25 - Lot Size

A bargaining agent requested an interpretation of FSD 25 as that Directive applied the responsibility of employees for the grounds surrounding staff quarters.

The Administrative Committee considered and agreed with the report of the Foreign Service Directives Committee in that the intent was that the employer would normally be responsible for the upkeep of any portion of a lot in excess of 660 square metres, the staff quarters being included within the 660 square metres.
