The grievor sought reimbursement of expenses related to his spouses travel for reason of the death of her step-father.
The Administrative Committee considered and agreed with the report of the Foreign Service Directives Committee that as the grievor's wife had claimed expenses on a prior occasion upon the death of a person designated by the grievor's wife, in the statutory declaration, as the paternal parent, that on this occasion denial of reimbursement was within the intent of the directive.
The grievance was denied.
