The grievors sought full reimbursement of the cost of safety boots which they were required to wear by the employer.
The Administrative Committee considered and agreed with the report of the Occupational Health, Safety and Physical Working Conditions Committee that Provincial occupational health and safety legislation does not apply to Federal employees and, therefore, the Employer is not required to pay the full cost of safety boots.
The grievance was denied.
