Travel for Medical Reasons - Mileage Allowance

The employee sought payment of mileage allowance at the employer requested rate.

The Administrative Committee considered and agreed with the report of the Isolated posts Commit tee in that employees, who request and are granted permission to use their private motor vehicle to travel, should be paid at the employee requested rate as listed in the Travel Directive, and therefore, that the grievor was treated within the intent of the Directive.

The grievance was denied.
