The grievor sought reimbursement for the cost of personal effects purchased in anticipation of a confirmed posting. The posting was subsequently cancelled.

At their September meeting, the Administrative Committee agreed that the Official Side would approach the department to proceed with a request for an "ex gratia" payment in the instant case.

The May meeting of the Administrative Committee noted that the payment had been approved.
