The grievor sought leave with pay under the Withdrawal from Work Procedures for a one day absence due to illness that the grievor stated was due to harassment at the workplace.

The Administrative Committee considered the report of the Occupational Health, Safety and Physical Working Conditions Committee and agreed with those members of the Committee who advised that it was clear from the procedures that the term "physical condition" as referred to in paragraph 3(2) does not apply to an employee nor was it ever the intent of the procedures to include such a reference. It was acknowledged that there is a policy covering harassment in the work place and it was recommended that this grievance be reviewed in light of that policy by the appropriate officials.

The grievance was denied.
