The Union-Management Relations Committee reviews the organization of the NJC, recommends NJC training activities and provides planning and organization for union-management seminars.

Quarterly Report to the National Joint Council (June 2026)
Regular Activities
- The Committee has met three (3) times since the last Council meeting;
- The Committee wishes to note the departure of an Employer Side representative, Marie-Josée Rouleau, from the Department of National Defence (DND), and to thank them for their contributions to the Committee;
- The Committee welcomed a new Bargaining Agent Side representative, Pamela Isfeld, from the Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers, and a new Employer Side representative, Guillaume Séguin, from DND;
- The Committee reviewed nominations for the NJC Special Recognition Award and identified potential recipients. Recommendations will be presented to the Executive Committee at its June meeting;
- The Committee selected the theme of the 2026 NJC Seminar. The event will focus on supporting employees through challenging times. The Committee is actively identifying speakers for the event which will take place on September 24, 2026, in Ottawa, ON.
