The Work Force Adjustment Committee reviews and recommends changes to the Work Force Adjustment Directive and hears final level grievances on this directive, when required by the Executive Committee.

Quarterly Report to the National Joint Council (June, July and August 2026)
Regular activities:
- The Committee has not met to discuss regular business since the last Council meeting.
- The Committee wishes to note the departure of two (2) Bargaining Agent Side representatives, Justin Miller, from the Canadian Federal Pilots Association (CFPA), and Wanda Boudreau, from the Federal Government Dockyard Chargehands Association (FGDCA), and to thank them for their contributions to the Committee.
- The Committee welcomed two (2) new Bargaining Agent Side representatives, Sean Yim, from the CFPA, and Tony Casella, from the FGDCA.
- The Committee continues to review the Public Service Commission Monthly Priority Population Reports.
Cyclical review activities:
The Committee continued cyclical review discussions and met four (4) times for co-development activities. As discussions and the co-development of revisions to the Directive are ongoing, the Committee requested an extension to the review deadline. The request has been referred to the Executive Committee for consideration at its September meeting.
Outstanding items:
Two (2) grievances:
- Two (2) related to the roles and responsibilities of departments or organizations; one (1) is scheduled to be heard in November and one (1) is pending additional information from the parties.
