21.4.894

Background

The grievor considered that his rights had been infringed upon as the Department may order the employee to use his private motor vehicle to travel to and from other establishments of his workplace. The grievor considers that this possibility runs counter to the existing agreement with the Department on travel, and to articles 33 and 64 of his collective agreement.

Executive Committee Decision

The Executive Committee agreed that since there was no particular instance presented when the grievor was aggrieved, the grievance is not receivable.
