The grievor sought provision of safety footwear by the Employer. The Administrative Committee considered and agreed with the report of the Physical Working Conditions Committee that the grievor did not require regular safety footwear on a periodic or infrequent basis nor did he require purpose-designed footwear. Therefore, the grievor was not entitled to free issue safety footwear within the terms of the policy.
The grievance was denied.
