The Administrative Committee considered and accepted the Foreign Service Directives Committee's conclusions with reference to Directives 40 and 57, being:
FSD 40 The submission of receipts accounts as required under instruction is necessary in order to identify those eligible expenses which are related to the medical condition, as distinct from extraneous expenses such as telephone rental.
FSD 57 The provision contained in paragraph (b) of section 57.04 applies only to the circumstances under (b) during an assignment; it does not apply to paragraph (a) which relates to an extension of the initial completed assignment.
