FSD 25 - Termination Notice

The bargaining agent requested an interpretation of FSD25 as it applies to the period of notice to be given an employee by the employer prior to the termination of the occupancy agreement and the rent share to be applicable during the period of notice.

The Administrative Committee considered the report of the Foreign Service Directives Committee and agreed that there was no provision in FSD25 for notice by the employer. It was further agreed that it was the intent not to prescribe a notice period in such situations.
