The Dental Care Board of Management (NJC Part) is responsible for the overall administration of the Plan, resolving members' complaints regarding eligibility or claims disputes with the Administrator, monitoring the claims settlement performance of the Administrator, and recommending changes to the Plan.

Regular Activities
- The Board of Management has met one (1) time since the last Council meeting and examined four (4) appeals;
- The appeals reviewed by the Board related to coverage for a dependent with a disability and the frequency limit of oral examinations. Of the four (4) appeals, one (1) appeal was allowed on an exceptional basis, and three (3) appeals were deferred pending the examination of the definition of over age dependant with a disability;
- The Board welcomed a new Bargaining Agent Side representative, Paul Sly, from International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 2228;
- The Board received a presentation from Canada Life regarding statistics of the Public Service Dental Care Plan experience for the months of January and February 2026;
- The Board finalized their 2025 Annual Report.
