Important Notice: Departments will add 5% GST and/or applicable Provincial or Territorial (or HST) to the VTA dollar amount below.

Clarification on the child fare
Most airlines now provide a child fare for children aged 2 to 11 years old rather than 2 to 12 years old as indicated in the IPGHD. As such, the child fares below apply for children who are 11 years old or younger. As indicated in subsection 3.6.2, children under age 2 receive the child VTA rate upon proof of airfare ticket purchase.
